Christof is the creator of the “The Truman Show.” He’s goal is to entertain the viewers, but also to make a safe,paradise for Truman, where he is the star. Christof was only trying to create the “heaven” for him, but soon was becoming the autocrat. In the past, most of the historians who fought wars to make utopia for their people all became dictators. Hitler and Stalin would be one of the few examples. Hitler thought in order for there to be heaven on earth, man must be perfected while he was on earth.

Christof shows the part of the “God” from the perspective of a anti-christ, and where most people hate about God. Most of the non-christians and people think of God as a control-freak, genocidal, jealous, sadomasochistic, and so on. Christof showed these ideas throughout the film where he wanted to control everything, including the time of the sun rise, whether, and even the people. Also, the part where Christof tries to kill Truman with thunderstorms and waves in front of thousand viewers shows the sadomasochistic side of the “God” many anti-christ thinks.
